Windshield Replacement Commercials

We were watching a football game on TV recently and an advertisement came on for a competing auto glass replacement firm. In the few seconds the commercial was on, we were astonished to see a funny replacement technique being used. The installer didn’t use suction cups to hold the windshield as it was slid into place! He did have gloves on, something very important as the oils from your hands can impact the curing and the seal of the urethane, but he was holding the new windshield by the bottom as he slid it into place. This means that the gloves would have been right in the urethane. What a mess that would be!
